The brickwork from the exterior continues within the building as apartments have expose brick walls. Each unit at 157 Suffolk Street also features 10 ‘ceilings and hard wood floors. Stainless steel appliances and granite countertops also highlight each apartment.

Built in 2006 as one of the first new luxury rentals in the Lower East Side, Avalon Bowery Place is a luxury rental building standing 9-stories tall and containing 206 luxury apartments. Avalon Bowery Place, located at 11 East 1st Street, is a modern building that stands out in a neighborhood where such buildings are few and far between. This isn’t a bad thing though, because the Lower East Side is a diverse neighborhood that still has the grit of earlier New York days while simultaneously providing some of the best cultural options in the city.
