New York Apartments for Rent Near the E Line
The A train was the first line in New York City’s subway system, and is currently the longest subway line in the world. While most of its 31-mile length lies in Brooklyn – where it runs all the way out to Rockaway Beach – the A also covers Manhattan’s West Side from top to bottom. The A/C/E serves Tribeca, the West Village and Chelsea. In Midtown, the E splits off and heads into Queens, while the A and C runs express up Central Park West on the Upper West Side, through Washington Heights and all the way up to Fort Tryon Park and Inwood.
