These ultra-luxe rentals are sure to impress.
Curbed recently reported that, accounting for inflation, the median rent in Central Harlem has gone up from $821 to $1,560, rising 90 percent in the last 12 years. This is the most dramatic increase in New York City, with Bed-Stuy following with a rent increase of 63 percent, from $921 to $1,500. There are several factors explaining why rents are rising, but in Harlem’s case we can attribute one to the growing popularity of the neighborhood itself. Harlem is truly unique, characterized by world-famous jazz clubs, lounges, numerous high-end boutiques, and the historic Apollo Theater. It’s no wonder that new residents are more than willing to pay top dollar; Harlem offers an experience like no other. Here are four Harlem luxury rental apartments that we recommend.
