Plans at 7 West 21st Street for the 18-story mixed-use tower is nearing completion. Developers Friedland Properties and architect Morris Adjmi teamed up with Stephen B. Jacobs for the project.
The FIDI tower encompasses 289,809 sqft which spans the block between 21st and 22nd streets, with 288 units in the building. Rentals will average 904 sqft a piece, and 58 of the units will go through the affordable housing lottery. The ground level of the building will hold 13,076 sqft of retail.
Offering studio to three bedroom apartments, starting at $3,900, interiors are elegantly designed with kitchens featuring honey, grey quartz countertops, mosaic backsplashes, and stainless steel appliances. The planned amenities include a yoga studio, fitness center, video game room, landscaped rooftop terrace with lounge area and barbecues. The building will be centered around a beautiful garden that will grace residents arriving home through the interior lobby.
The tower is planned to be completed by 2017.
