Art deco landmark 70 Pine is offering 2 months free rent to all new leases, for a limited time only.
A staple of Downtown Manhattan, 70 Pine Street has been standing 66 stories tall since 1932. Designed by the firms Clinton & Russell and Holton & George, 70 Pine was the third tallest building in the world upon its completion, and although it no longer holds that title, this art deco masterpiece is not to be overlooked. If 70 Pine sounds like the historic home of your dreams, you’re in luck. Under the new management of Rose Associates and DTH Capital, 70 Pine is currently offering two months free rent or one month free rent and paid broker’s fee for all newly signed leases.
Originally built for commercial use, 70 Pine has gone through many different phases throughout the course of its lifetime. It was commissioned by CITGO, then taken over by AIG to serve as their headquarters in 1976. Today, the building is undergoing the process of being transformed into 644 brand new rental units, 137 hotel rooms, and 35,000 square feet of retail space.
The exterior of 70 Pine is something of a wonder, and the structure stands as an iconic piece of the Manhattan skyline.
Rent starts at $2,800/month for studio apartments, $3,650 for 1-bedrooms, $5,750 for 2-bedrooms, and $7,950 for 3-bedrooms. 70 Pine residences are broken down into three sublevels consisting of the City collection, found on floors 11-31, the Tower Collection, floors 32-54, and the Penthouse Collection, consisting of 16 ultra high-end homes. Although the City Collection is complete and ready to welcome residents, the other two collections are still under construction, but are certain to be worth the wait.
