Located at 132A Stanhope Street, the four-story building was constructed in January, replacing a two-story family home. Its unique exterior mimics the subway system.
One side features a map of the New York City subway system, complete with a “You are here” sign. The front of the building displays a rail-like iron running up one side of the building and a ground floor exterior that looks like a subway car.
Its interiors are just as interesting. The bathrooms feature tiled walls and mirrors that are kitschy porthole-shaped. In the hallways, industrial lighting and yellow safety rumble strips add to this building’s subway theme.
The broker for the building is Subway Realty Group (no kidding). 132A Stanhope Street features eight apartments, with two duplexes on the top floor. It is located near the M subway line in Brooklyn.
